Not worth it IMO...get your fav. flavor stick-on navi, or you could replace head unit with an after market unit like the Pioner AVICZ1 or alternative.
FWIW, my M has OEM navi. and I still use the Garmin Nuvi when I go on long trips - the BMW system is archaic. |
I've just about reached the same conclusion. $2K??? I doubt I can get that back when I decide to sell or trade-in. I'm be getting better bang-for-the-buck with a Garmin Nuvi 880.
