I took out the multi-information display on a 2003 X5 in order to add an audio input jack to the car. When I reinstalled the MID it worked for a while, then stopped. Now there's no display and no way to control the stereo. The fuse is good and the connections seem fine. Do these MIDs go bad? What's the best source for a replacement?
