I'm always a lil' surprised when I read about some punqeazz in
TX, or a state like TX, does some idiot aggressive act like
the one in the story; are they so stupid that they think only
a few people are carrying or, have one handy?

Blue, based on the article, she wasn't "carrying"...

From my fading memory, TX requires a permit to carry concealed...it
just isn't that difficult to obtain that permit compared to many/most
states. That was my point on the TX law(s).
