Hi,
i just got my x5 3.0 a couple of weeks ago and do not have the workshop manual yet. My PS is low and i want to add some in when the ATF in cold. It looks and smell like ATF but just wanted to know if a castrol DIII would work for the future. I have a lot for my 93 range rover so it would be nice not to buy another type (to many mods i need for the X).
Question:
The PS fluid is ATF dexron III?

I have some Lucas Power Steering treatment so i will top it off w/ that for now to give the Steering unit a good coating.
