Those tips are very nice.
I was thinking of buying them as well but decided to wait. Maybe after you install them and post some pics I will get them too.
As for the question of painting them I'm not really sure. I'm leaning to both sides because if they are powder coated black they will go with the black trim and also the X is black, so that will also match. But I also for some reason like the look of chrome exhaust tips, but don't really know why.
