No, it is more likely that the fluid is low, or there is an imbalance between the different circuits, caused by pressing the brake pedal when the brake job was being completed. Looks like it needs bleeding, recognizing that with the BMW ABS module you may need the BMW computer to cycle the ABS valves as the system is bled, to get the air out. Start with the mechanic that did the work, but realize that it may cost more than the labour on your brake job did to repair it.
