every x5 is different. Im at 105k and no major problems like what you have experienced, people were just annoyed when you said that its a piece of s*** and giving them an impression that ALL X5s are like that. So your case is not always the same as the others. There are owners here that enjoys X5, including myself and based on my experience, it's not a piece of s*** but its a driving machine. Its my second one, first was a 330i and i both loved them. But i didnt take your personally though, every car make has its flaws IMO, your new trailblazer will not be a good one for others and may give them problems as well. So its a part of life that we need to deal with. Have a good one man!
