I think google actually give you MORE information than CUIL.
I mean, if you look at the result page, you have:
the the actual page link
a short blub -- which I don't know about you, but I don't read
the URL -- something I look at immediately after looking at the page link to ensure the page is valid
page size -- useful when bandwidth is tight
a cached page -- A FEATURE I LOVE, in case the page you're going to is down or no longer exists
yeah google has looked the same for years now, but it's functional. I seriously don't see the need for a search engine to show me a portion of the web page I want to go to before I go to the webpage. It's like giving me a brochure for an X5 at delivery.
