if you have the factory TV then you can do the following:
1. Retrofit the original BMW Mk4 nav system. You will get total integration and total control. You can have nav and radio going at the same time on the same screen
2. Connect any nav that has composite video out to the AV-IN of the TV system. But when you select AV-IN, you cannot listen to the radio.
And if you use AV-IN for the nav, you cannot use it for a DVD player or an iPod Video.
The best solution is fit the original nav system.
