Hello again. Thanks Jochen for all your time and knowledge, it is a big help.
First off I have reset TP to 0 and to -9 and while the radio vol gets lower as I chnge the TP, it does not affect nav. So, I will try power down and hope that helps
Thanks for stating the obvious in a polite manner. OF COURSE its the radio software version, (and it is 11-99 42) I guess it is never the source or fix for problems, and is not messed with.
So, I am increasingly intrigued with the tv or should I say video options. I don't care for tv but internet thru my iphone sounds great. So how do I gain a video access point w/o spending $1000 for bme tv module, that is too much and I hate to pay for tuner if I don't need to. Oh yes a tuner would give me wireless access thru remote rf modulators, OK so any cheaper video inputs, w or w/o tuner. what device say from the computer world could be hacked to convert ntsc or video to rgb and piggybacked into monitor? what have folks tried? any leads, as the tv sticky was not helpful. one third party brand was down and the other had only a few models covered.
thanks,
I'll drive muted for now, and let you know about the next fix on the volume.
Tom
Oh yes, remember my ? about cass or cd with the monitor? I see lots of monitor ads THAT DON'T EVEN MENTION WHICH MEDIA player IS ATTACHED?! Does everyone assume it is cd if it is a MKIII nav, because most were cd? The pictures don't help cause they are usually closed.
