Don't we live in a free market? Doesn't the pharmaceutical company have a primary responsibility of making money for their share holders?

After all, they pay for the R&D. What about all the drugs they try to make but fail.

If the price of fuel can go up 150%, then why not drugs? There is also inflation, the cost of doing business, etc.

Again, I'm not suggesting I like the price increases but isn't that just business?
Yes and No, it's tricky because it cause a ripple across a large number of things. I'd like to see them justify these costs, I mean 1000%, sorry but when fuel goes up 1000% then we can talk. All they are going to do is kill themselves in the end when people say enough is enough, it really is a slippery slope. Again, the R&D, and charges the gov'ment tacks on etc etc also are a HUGE factor of current prices. Again, no free lunch America!
