That depends on weather it's a life saving drug or a drug of convenience. If it's a drug that a substantial segment of society requires and their life is at risk without it, then it would seem to me that it would be a moral obligation to make that drug affordable to those who need it.
Oh i understand the company needs to make a profit issue. But the primary reason why drugs are made is to treat people. So if treating people is really that important then why price the drug out of the reach of those who need it. That makes absolutely no sense.

Don't we live in a free market? Doesn't the pharmaceutical company have a primary responsibility of making money for their share holders?
After all, they pay for the R&D. What about all the drugs they try to make but fail.
If the price of fuel can go up 150%, then why not drugs? There is also inflation, the cost of doing business, etc.
Again, I'm not suggesting I like the price increases but isn't that just business?
