Most of us that have gotten an extended warr. here, have gone for something less than bumper to bumper...
Couple key points, that you didn't describe: be aware of the specific exclusions in the fine print and, is this
ext warr. that your local dlr is humping, usable at other dlrs/independent shops?
There are dozens of "extended warranty" companies floating around; there are barely of handful of good,
legit ones, based upon anecdotal info posted on this and other boards.
But, for $750 a year, (assuming you will drive ~12K per year), it does offer some comfort, esp. if a trans
or something major, goes out.
