I am interested to bring down the X5 from my current sport package, by getting the H&R sport springs. I got a 4.4 2002 X5.

A salesperson from my workshop now told me I have the air suspension in the rear and hence I could not get the sport springs.

How do I know if I really have air suspension? I thought if I had air suspension, I would have a self-leveling button somewhere to adjust ride height, but I do not have such a button


I saw H&R is available for vehicles with air suspension and without. Hence, it should be no problem to order the springs for air-suspension, if it was true? Is there any difference between the two setups when lowering an X5 with and one without air suspension in the rear?
