I'm checking off one of the "Things To Do Before I Die" from my list!
I'm going to Yankee Stadium tomorrow.
I've been wanting to go for years, but haven't made it there. With the season almost over, and only a few weeks left of the season (and the stadium) I bought tickets! The seats suck, but I don't care!
I'm off on Thursdays, it's a day game, they are playing the Red Sox, and Mike Mussina is scheduled to start. How much more perfect could it be?
This will be the last game the Red Sox play in Yankee Stadium (unless Tampa Bay Rays' plane crashes and both the Yankees and Red Sox make it to the post season).
I figured it'd be really easy to find someone to go with me, but I found that not to be true with such short notice. So I sent out an e-mail to a few people on my contact list who I thought would be interested and good ole Clint was the first to reply.
I can't wait! I've never been to New York City.
