My stepdad owns both an E53 X5 4.4i and a Honda Pilot.

He prefers to drive the Honda Pilot and we can't get him to stop talking about the thing: "Room for 7 passengers, better on gas, lots of storage, handles great, great pickup, etc. AND it's 1/2 the price of the X5, blah blah, blah."

I don't love the way they look but purely for utilitarian reasons, it is a great SUV.
