hi mate. i found GIO to be way cheaper than a few i've looked at though i'm in a higher age bracket than you btw, Wheels magazine has the x5 cheapest to insure compared to the ml-350 & the Q7 and its when i went thru the comparison parameters that i discovered GIO was the insurer used....
