Hi!
The highest software version for your nav should be v31. That enables you to use Dual Layer dvd's and other bug fixes. So you really should update to that! Not to mention to get perspective mode on the map.
My tips, upgrade nav os and enjoy a better view in the map display. You can get the v32 from
www.bmwportal.net - along with the 2008-2 map.
