I demolished these old 70s tiles with a Hammerdrill on Monday. On Tuesday I bought lots of Turkish tumbled marble tiles (4" by 4") and I've been "laying them down."

I'm gonna finish off today, apply silicone sealant, let it dry. Then apply grout, let that dry. Then tomorrow the final sealant and border.

By the weekend, I will also have new doorknobs, new bathroom cabinets, plus a new granite top for the bathroom (I ordered this 2 weeks ago).

Not much of a "treat" perhaps, but I'm excited.
