2) I've complained about this as well. No passive arming is a worry if you run in carrying groceries or something and end up not locking it all night. The door locks don't have to lock, but at least have the alarm arm. BTW, the alarm is pathetically weak-sounding.

4) I have comfort access and even so I need to pop the trunk from a distance if I don't feel like waiting for it. I didn't know it was 2 vs 3 sec. It has been a royal PITA to get it to open without the alarm going off. I actually opt to use comfort access on the thing (push the soft-handle underneath) because I don't want to look like an idiot attracting attention with my car alarm going off in a public lot. The time difference between trunk & panic needs to be more forgiving although I realize they don't want the panic button to take 10 seconds either. I don't understand why the trunk can't be a 1-sec touch on the fob like the doors.
