Not a lot. I'm new to the X5 world myself. Just picked up a used 2006 X5 4.4 about 2 weeks ago.
I can say that I previously bought an Infiniti M45 over a 550 back in 2006 but that had more to do with bang for the $$ than anything else. Both were/are great cars.
