Continental has about a dozen versions of "Contacts",
with several species in both the all season and dedicated
winter versions; give us an exact model from your
sidewall and maybe the opins can be more specific.
But as mrkbbd said above, seriousazz snow in western NY
won't be fun without dedicated snow tires and/or 17-18
wheels with dedicated snow tires.
