the trim is easy to take off, just pop it off with a plastic tool, the door panel itself is a little bit trickier, but the trim is really easy, just work your way from the back to the front with the plastic tool and it should loosen up and pop right out

EDIT: i saw you mentioned window trim specifically, what i would take a look at is the Bavarian SoundWorks (BSW) Stage 1 installation video on their website, it does a great job of explaining how to get everything off
