StumpyPete is on a distinguished road
Two little features I have recently discovered:

1. If you push the cruise control stalk beyond the resistance you discover that it is a two-stage switch. If you push to the second level it increases mph to the next increment of 5. (i.e. 40 to 45, 47 to 50, etc...)

2. On the indicator stalks if you are indicating right (or left) and you want to switch them off then pushing in the same direction cancels them (this avoids the left - right - left problem that you can sometimes get).

I picked these up on an E60 forum and was pleased to find that they applied to the E70 too.
