I was just using my Canon powershot S50, the attributes are saved with the pictures. I used the "P" mode for most shots, which automatically selects the Film Speed (50 in this case for most shots), shutter speed and focal length, I selected the ambient lighting, used a tripod and timer so that there is no shake. Not too bad for a powershot
