I went to the shop where I purchased the DVD Changer from and they had a look and said yes it is much bigger than the last lot of changers they sold and the other make they sold fitted in there much better So I had to bite my tongue but they have come up with a solution I think and would like to run this past you guys and see what you think. Going to take the unit apart and solder on RCA leads and this should give it enough room to fit in the where the changer goes. I am not really worried about the changer being taken to part as was not that expensive and works really well for a cheap unit! What is worrying me is there solution for the CD changer They told me to make brackets for the DVD and stick the CD Changer on top which does make me think it will make the cd’s jump or I guess the last option to me is take the CD Changer out altogether and fit a ice link.
One other question if I may in Janix DVD in stereo post on the front page of this site (Which if I had not read would not have even dreamed of doing this) He has a switch so he can split his aux inputs i.e. one for the I pod and one for the DVD in stereo can anyone explain in lay mans terms how this is done and which parts I will need exactly and if I did not do it the way Janix did his and just used a headphone splitter what would happen if both sources played at once so would the stereo go into melt down or just get jumbled up music because to lots playing at the same time.
The one question I can answer is to Jhani just buy a video in motion lead from NAV TV and comes with instructions and is real easy to do just plug and play.
Thanks again
