hi,i am a newbie , with a sunroof problem .i have a dec 04 3.0d x5 with a panoramic sunroof ie twin roof. the other day the back section would not close,the front section was going up & down like a yoyo.my mate managed to get both front & back closed but said that i could not use the sunroof . as there was a problem with the cable cassette.he phoned his mate who works for a bmw garage.they have had a few cars in recently with the same problem they open the sunroof in the good weather after being closed for the past 6 months & the cable in the cassette goes .i find this hard to believe in a luxury car like the x5. anyone else have this problem.
