But what I'm worried is that if I keep on pushing the pedal towards floor it reaches the floor after 5s constant pushing. Same symptoms applies if I keep on pumping the pedal: it never gets hard (that used to be in older cars) but stays soft, pedal retracting further away.

I do not have this "problem" in my 2007 130i where the pedal gets harder and harder when pumping, not rectracting away.

So I don't know if these symptoms are typical for new X5s?

By the way. what does si mean? I have X5 3.0si and 130i. What does si mean here?
