besides the pain, thing about what ppl will say, yeah you love your kid, but its just plain weird to have your kids name on your chest.....

its just fuel for the fire that is know as puberty
would you really have liked it if your dad had a tatoo on his chest with your name?
im not trying to be mean, just trying to be honest....

but its your choice, there are other ways to show your love.....maybe plant a tree? buy a house for him?
