I get something similar on my Mk4. Usually doesn't even get to the logo/splash screen. Happens first thing in the morning, but last time was 70deg F so it's not exactly cold. Happens once every few months. I thought it was a problem with DVD reader, but this last time, I ejected the DVD and it still had the problem. I was wondering if it's my custom splash screen, but it shouldn't only have an intermittent problem with that at such long intervals.
