The Mustang Ranch, in a barrage of glitz and splendor, has re-opened! Shut down by the government in 1999, the once gaudy World Famous Mustang Ranch has undergone a relocation, transformation and revival of epic proportions.
Lance Gilman, owner/operator, has diligently moved, restored, revived and reopened the famous brothel, all in an effort to maintain the integrity and importance of its famous name known worldwide! He has placed the famous pink stucco buildings in a quiet cul-de-sac to sit across from its opulent neighbor, The Wild Horse Resort and Spa.
Once in place, the lovely and talented Madam Susan Austin went to work on a massive remodel inside and out, being careful to preserve the essence and historical qualities that could have been lost forever.
Made famous by Joe Conforte, the Mustang Ranch was Nevada’s first legal brothel and before long, the name became known around the world. While there take time to visit the Mustang Ranch Museum that is filled with memorabilia from the original brothel, and there is a replica of Conforte’s private suite.
