I know dealers buy auctioned cars. But this particular car is low miles, with dirty interior, and auctioned by manufacturer(per Carfax). "Why would a dealer not be able to sell a 07 with under 3k miles?" There are costs involved in doing CPO. You can take your car to dealer, pay $5k and ask to be CPO'ed. I have seen that happen and I have myself spent some time at PA auction location mentioned in the Carfax link. In used car market you should not "assume anything" or you can end up in "ass-u-me situation"
