From our deck, at 5,000 feet elevation, overlooking our lil'town of Waynesville, NC.
This time of year always offers up some titz views at sunrise and sunset...amazing
to me how the clouds and colors are so changeable. Had our first hard freeze and
frost this am: 26 degs F. Season is changing quickly up here on the ridge of Eagle Nest Mtn.
Thanks for looking!

PS: yeah, "more pics" and 10K+ posts...I gotta get a new hobby.
Waynesville below with decent autumn color on the ridges:
The view, literally, from sitting on our deck:

And, a couple mins later, standing up, watching the sun trying to rise:
Diff morning, with the lights still on down in the dark valley of "town"; handheld, so no DofF, or sharpness:

Same morning, with MrSun finally peeking over the ridges:

Couple of soft, dusk views, MtPisgah & TheColdMtn:
And,
