Yeah, I'm a bit confused along with BGM. Replacing the water pump and replacing the thermostat?? Is that part of the E53 Maintenance Schedule?
Obviously, if they're both in woking order, this would be a full out-of-pocket expense. Even if the vehicle is on an extended warranty program (say Warranty Direct), they're not going to pay for these as "preventive" measures.
What am I missing here?
