I have a 2002 x5 4.4litre it has a cd changer in the back that cannot play mp3 i recently purchased another cd changer on ebay which was supposed to play mp3 the model# is 65.12-6 946 989 i contacted the seller who said the header unit will not read mp3 tracks i thought this was read in the changer are there alternatives for me to get mp3 playing through a cd changer my x5 has sat nav if this makes any difference
