I have an old SportMart cargo box (that you can't even buy anymore). I suggest looking for the best deal in a Thule box -- they have over 15 current models.
As far as base support system and rack, I looked at BMW's but decided Thule's 450R Rapid Crossroad and RB53 Load Bars were a lot better.
