American Flyer Trains Updated 2/21/09
Well boys and girls, dad's layout is progressing. A few of you have asked for an update on his progress so here goes. For those of you that need history, my father has a collection of American Flyer Trains. He got his first as a kid and has added trains through the years. He had a layout in the basement of the house we grew up in. Now that he is semi retired and has way too much time on his hands, he decided to do it again.
There are 13 different lines, he can run 7 of the 13 at once. He makes most of structures himself, either from scratch using old wooden cigar boxes or kits. The track and electrical work is complete. Structures need to be added as does the scenery, landscape and details. Please forgive my sorry ass photography skills.
