Hello I have just joined this forum as my questions didnt get answered in my other forum.

I have purchased an 05 m3 with 16:9 mk Iv nav and tv which all worked perfectly to start with.

To start with I got a dension gateway 100 (ipod adaptor) fitted which works fine. My battery went flat during this as my girlfriend was sitting with the engine off and the heated seats on full blast!!!!

second I purchased a v32 nav update disc and 2008 maps (copies). I have done the update which looks like it worked fine and the maps seem ok. I have put the 3d view and the poi speed cameras.

Once this had all been done I have noticed that the sat nav does not give my exact possition and it goes to parralel roads and cuts through fields and goes backwards around round abouts etc.. Also there is no sound from my tv now but I can get the picture, there was before. I dont know after which thing i done that the sound stopped working either ipod or update.

I have checked the satalites in the extra setting mode but it can usually see 6-8 which I think is usual. It does have the gps symbol in the top right box.

Does anyone know what I can do to rectify this? what would happen if i was to put the old 2005 maps back in instead of the 2008 maps?
