Seems as if the Syrians provided the intel for the raid, and were fine with it, but the soldiers were reckless and killed a bunch of civilians, so the Syrian government was forced to publicly denounce the raid. Sounds like the kind of thing our own politicians would do so that they don't look bad to their constituancy. And as the article discusses (and as I said earlier in this thread), the Syrian government is enemies with Al-Queda, and Al-Queda has been behind terrorist attacks in Syria targeting their government. |
Well if that is true kinda shoots a hole in the whole "we need to apologize" argument
