Nice post

The most important message at this point in the race is to vote. It's our duty as citizens, and it will shape our future. Pay attention to local politics, do the research there, because you could be deciding the entire career of a person. Support the candidate not who you think will save the entire world, because that won't happen. Support that candidate who you feel best represents your views.
I consider myself a Democrat, but that does not mean I'm automatically going to check off all the Dems on the ballot. If you feel that items that are important to you are not being represented, don't complain, stand up for them. It's not the government vs the people, it's We the People. We are the government, and if you do not voice your opinion, in one way or the other, what right do you have to complain?
Most importantly, make a difference.
