Fortunately they seemed to be few and far between. I think I saw maybe 4 or 5 on the 10 hour trip home, and I don't recall seeing many more than that on the trip down.

I don't personally use a radar detector, rather I tend to pay close attention to the traffic conditions and environment around me at all times. I'm pretty good to knowing when to slow down to stay out of trouble
