Used to raise the Bronze turkeys myself and wow are they better than the store bought. You can buy the young for about $3.50/each in the spring, feed them some poult feed for a few weeks and after that they become self sufficient just eating insects etc around the yard. They just need a roof over their heads to roost at night and then butcher them in the fall. You will have never eaten a turkey so good!

How many of you city folk would have the balls to actually be able to butcher a turkey???
