Several months ago i posted a thread on the strange and wierd things that were possessing my 2007 X5. Nav resets, radio on/off, etc. When i took it in for service it of course was on it best behavior and of course there were no codes set. The dealership (D & R Indianapolis North) performed (per them) a cleaning of the fiber optics connection and the the copper data bus cable connections. I have not had any of the problems re-occur.
