I really like the second picture! We too got a dusting here in the mountains of VA.......much to my surprise when I opened the blinds this morning.

Only a high of 18°F? Wow and I thought the 4°C (39°F) high today was cold! The X is showing a mere 0,5°C now........wind chill is much worse though.
