If only modern parents had more of an active roll with the kids as ours had with us. Don't buy them a wii, build them a treehouse or swingset... And riding the bike around kept me in great shape, and I always remember going to bike traces/trails with the folks! I always had a natural attraction to tools and working on things, so not only did dad let me take my remote control cars apart, he would help put them back together showing me the proper use for tools and how things work, giving me the basis for my career!
