Well, thanks for the interest. I find Washington to be an interesting state. On mornings when the thermomether reads thirties (30's) it feels warm to me, and some 50 feel cold.
I love the look of the white topped mountains.
The people here are very friendly.
The job is OK so far, I look for it to get better.
On the down side, I am in a motel where there is a constant hard smell of ammonia. Could I be in a meth lab? I will be signing for a three month apartment is a nicer part of town - with underground parking for the X5 in a couple days. Hope the job lasts that long - you never know these days.
I went to Everett this past weekend to watch them build Boeing; that was very informative and entertaining.
On the way back to Bellingham, I stopped in the Tulalip Casino and picked up $50 for my troubles.
Saturday, I watched a small troller lay nets in Bellingham bay. As the net was being played out within a few yards of where I was, a sea lion/seal poked his head up to look around and see what was going on - but I misssed the shot.
That reminds me, I saw something else - I think a huge bird on a rock, I could not squint hard enough to make it out so I took a photo using telephoto. I have not yet check to see what it was.
On Sunday, I decided to roam the area and was surprise to arrive at the Canadian border within 15 minutes.
As soon as I get a new set of cable-chains, I plan to go toward the mountains again to get some more shots.
I am just now starting to get over "jet-lag."
The tumble-weed did no damage to my car.
All-in-all, I am having a great time.
