Diamaris are a nail magnet! Had them on my other SUV and constantly got nails in them. Not very surprising since they are so soft, thus providing great summer handling.

We used Latitutes on that car afterwards. Surprisingly it does improve gas consumption (not much, about a 1 mpg gain), but the tread life is much better, plus no more random flats (driving around the same area). Latitutes work great if your not pushing the car to it's limit all the time. For daily drivers, they are great.

Only wish I went without the 3rd row to get the spare to switch to these tires on my X5. Now I'm stuck with the Dunlops.
