I'd buy the red one, all the doom and gloom on low mileage cars is not always true and given the area you live I would take the gamble. The problem is the price is way to high for me. Given the economic times and potential for trouble the car is probably worth less than a more used one. As a general rule problems with new cars happen in the first 3-5k and this one still has that potential.

If the price was sub 30k I think you would have my attention. The 4.6is is unfortunately not the most desirable model given the higher reliability of the 3.0 and the better performance from the 4.8.
