I don't think I like the AT&T's data plan. Simply too much dough for me.
I was in Honolulu Ala Moana Apple Store this Monday, playing with iPhone for the first time. The UI and hardware were very pretty and smooth, but texting didn't live up to my expectation. The wizard wasn't able to demonstrate predictive testing for me. Got me Airport Extreme since their tax rate was like 4%.
Last evening I had to hear two hour vent from my buddy who's a research scientist just say a well known Hollywood media firm about how unstable the high-end Apple systems are and how snobbish Apple is defying industrial conventions when they come to file formats. He is super-frustrated working on his firm's top of the line Macs. This semi-socialist guy has been very unhappy with their pricing for a long time even though he admits it has gotten lot better. I don't want to irate Mac Fans but I felt that perhaps he has a point. Well entry-level (casual) users seems to like it.
Oh Mac Users told me that I would need to purchase Mobile me Account to use corporate push mail on iPhone, so that was no go for me.
That's a real shame BECAUSE I WANTED TO BE SEXY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.
