Even with lower fuel prices, one should always try to minimise fuel consumption whenever possible. I'm afraid that with $1,70/US gallon petrol prices, folks are gonna forget that prices can shoot up very quickly, and that driving is a privilege, not a right. The good news is that diesel is down too, at around $2,89/US gallon around here.
Funny thing is, I started out minimising fuel consumption years ago when driving. Thus, I had no need to alter my driving habits whether petrol is $4,50 or $1,90/US gallon. I drive like petrol costs €1,60/litre. :eek:
